Tony Award-winner Aaron Tveit will return to the Broadway company of Moulin Rouge! The Musical in the role of Christian for a 12-week limited engagement beginning Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th St, NYC). Tony Award nominee Derek Klena returns to the role on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Tveit will co-star alongside Ashley Loren who continues in the role of Satine.

Direct from the Moulin Rouge! The Musical North American Tour, David Harris and André Ward join the company in the roles of The Duke of Monroth and Toulouse-Lautrec, respectively, starting Tuesday, February 7, 2023. Sahr Ngaujah, who received a Tony Award nomination for creating the role of Toulouse-Lautrec, plays his final performance on Sunday, February 5, 2023. Declan Bennett plays his final performance as The Duke of Monroth on Sunday, January 15, 2023 and the role will be played by Dylan Paul from Tuesday, January 17, 2023 to Sunday, February 5, 2023.

Current cast members Eric Anderson as Harold Zidler, Caleb Marshall-Villarreal as Santiago, Jessica Lee Goldyn as Nini and Oyoyo Joi as Satine Alternate will continue with the production.

Aaron Tveit

created the role of Christian, which earned him his first Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical, in Moulin Rouge! The Musical first in Boston for the world premiere in the summer of 2018 and then on Broadway in the summer of 2019. He's also appeared on Broadway in Catch Me If You Can, Next to Normal, Wicked and Hairspray. Other stage credits include Assassins (West End) and Rent (Hollywood Bowl). He's appeared on television in the Grammy-nominated "Schmigadoon!," "American Horror Stories," "Graceland," "Grease Live!," "Gossip Girl," "Brain Dead" and others. Film credits include the Academy Award-winning Les Misérables, Out of Blue, Created Equal, Undrafted, Better Off Single, Howl and others. He's appeared in concerts in NYC at Webster Hall, Irving Plaza and LCT American Songbook, and on tours at Barrington Stage Company, The Paramount in NY, House of Blues, Boston, San Diego, The Belasco in L.A., Barns at Wolf Trap in D.C., The Vets. His recordings include The Radio in My Head.

David Harris

has received multiple award wins/nominations for performances on stages in his native country Australia including Miss Saigon (Chris), Legally Blonde (Emmett), Priscilla Queen of the Desert (Tick), Wicked (Fiyero), Into the Woods (Baker), The Full Monty (Malcolm) and Chess (Anatoly). In North America, he's appeared regionally at Goodspeed in Rags (Max Bronfman) and Anything Goes (Billy Crocker); Barrington Stage in Ragtime (Father); Theaterworks in Next to Normal (Dan, Connecticut Critics nomination); and, Connecticut Repertory Theatre in Les Misérables (Jean Valjean) International Concert credits include Stephen Schwartz's "Defying Gravity," Boublil / Schönberg's "Do You Hear the People Sing?"

André Ward

has appeared on Broadway in Escape to Margaritaville, Rock of Ages, Xanadu, Saturday Night Fever (OBC), Something Rotten and The Producers. He's appeared in the national tours of Pippin (Leading Player), The Producers, Ragtime (Chicago company), Cinderella and Dreamgirls. Regional credits include Dot (Peoples Light), Ain't Misbehavin' (Portland Center Stage) and Elegies (Barrington Stage). His TV/Film credits include "Pose," The Forty-Year-Old Version, "Murphy Brown," "Master of None," "High Maintenance," "Elementary," "Difficult People," "Broad City."
