A Cole Porter revue comes to CD!

The soundtrack for Peter Bogdonavich's unique movie musical homage to Cole Porter starring Burt Reynolds and Cybill Shepherd, AT LONG LAST LOVE, is available today, September 18.

The official description of AT LONG LAST LOVE is as follows: "Writer-director Peter Bogdanovich's daring experiment in direct-sound musical, At Long Last Love is a charming pastiche of superb Cole Porter songs woven together to tell a gossamer tale of life among the idle rich. The romantic roundelay is peopled by a carefree playboy (Burt Reynolds), a madcap heiress (Cybill Shepherd), a Broadway diva (Madeline Kahn), and an Italian gambler (Duilio Del Prete); with a pair of wised-up servants (John Hillerman, Eileen Brennan) providing little perspective. Released just in time for Cole Porter's birthday on June 9, the film features stunning 1930s-inspired, black-and-white-in-color design, and is presented here in the director's preferred cut which was personally overseen by Bogdanovich."

No official track-listing is available, although the film includes such Porter standards as "Which", "You're The Top", "It's De-Lovely", "Find Me A Primitive Man", "Friendship", "But In The Morning, No", "At Long Last Love", "Well, Did You Evah?", "Just One Of Those Things", "I Get A Kick Out Of You" and more.
