Returning after a three year hiatus, Author Services Inc, located one block west of Grauman's Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd, is once again hosting live music and story-readings of L. Ron Hubbard's "Stories from the Golden Age," with some of the world's most talented musicians and Hollywood's most recognized actors, including Chick Corea, Edgar Winter, Karen Black and David Carradine.
The 200-seat Author Services (ASI) Theater has recently reopened to resume its live presentations of L. Ron Hubbard's original series of pulp fiction classic tales penned during the 1930s and 1940s and recently adapted into multi-cast audio performances. Each of the live shows held in the ASI Theater will be preceded by musical performances from such top billed performers as David Campbell, Chick Corea and Edgar Winter.The stage performances of the Hubbard's stories are scheduled to include many of Hollywood's most celebrated performers including Karen Black (Five Easy Pieces, The Great Gatsby), Bruce Boxleitner (Tron, Babylon 5), David Carradine (Kill Bill, Kung-Fu), Marty Kove (Karate Kid) and Phil Proctor (co-creator of the Firesign Theatre).Last Saturday, the theater hosted a performance of L. Ron Hubbard's The Iron Duke with Phil Proctor, Michael Yurchak, John Mariano, Rajia Baroudi and Tait Ruppert and a special performance by Broadway vocalist Sisu Raiken.Videos
