ALLEGIANCE's George Takei to Take Questions Live for New Series COFFEE WITH GOLDSTAR

Actor, activist and now Broadway star George Takei will be available answer questions online in real time on Thursday, December 3 at 3pm when Goldstar debuts its new series, "Coffee With Goldstar."

"We're bringing Broadway right to the people. Whether it's on a mobile device or desktop -- anyone with access to the internet can simply join in the fun and ask 'Uncle George' anything they want," explains Goldstar CEO Jim McCarthy.

To participate in the chat people should visit the Allegiance event page - https://www.goldstar.com/events/new-york-ny/allegiance-tickets- on Goldstar where they'll be prompted to enter the live "Coffee With Goldstar" and George Takei chat. The free interactive chat begins promptly at 4pm EST and will last about a half hour. All are welcome as the session can host as many users show up. People can ask George anything.

Following a record-breaking, sold-out run at San Diego's Old Globe Theatre, the acclaimed new American musical Allegiance is now on Broadway. Making his Broadway debut at the age of 78, Takei stars alongside Tony-winner Lea Salonga (Miss Saigon, Les Miserables), Telly Leung (Rent, Glee), Katie Rose Clarke (Wicked) and Michael K. Lee. Inspired by Takei's true-life experience during the Japanese-American internment in World War II, Allegiance is the touching and uplifting story of one family's love, loss and heroism. Olivier Award nominee Stafford Arima directs, with book by Marc Acito, Jay Kuo and Lorenzo Thione, and music and lyrics by Jay Kuo.

This is the first "Coffee With Goldstar", but the future will bring many more live chats with other Broadway casts, musicians, comedians, dancers ... you name it. More news on that soon.
