Chris Spies to Release New Single THE AMBERGRIS PROTOCOL
Musicians Brooks Hubbert, Doug Belote and Pete Shand join the track from the upcoming album CHAOSMOSIS.
Chris Spies has released a new single, 'The Ambergris Protocol,' via Color Red.
Chris Spies is a widely known keyboardist on both the road and in the studio. When he's not performing alongside funk and blues acts like Honey Island Swamp Band and The Lucky Strokes, Spies crafts his own unique blend of sounds he calls 'Interplanetary Trailer Park Jazz.' After tapping other touring and studio mainstay musicians such as Brooks Hubbert and Doug Belote, as well as New Mastersounds bassist Pete Shand, Spies shares an instrumental funk-meets-jam single with plenty of jazz flair via 'The Ambergris Protocol'. The single and the additional tracks on his upcoming album, 'Chaosmosis', were mixed and mastered by Soulive's Alan Evans.
