6 DEGREES OF CATS to Bring Live Show to Caveat NYC

On Monday, September 28, 2026, from 9:30-10:30 PM ET, 6 Degrees of Cats podcast host Amanda B. takes over Caveat (21A Clinton St.) as part of the Cheerful Earful Podcast Festival NYC. This live podcast taping brings cat lovers across NYC together for an hour of comedy-infused master-level trivia, deep-dive dialogue, guest and audience competitions - and mass media subversion by way of historical facts and contemporary understandings.

Featured guests include:

• Marina Franklin: Marina Franklin is a veteran stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and host, with onscreen and writing credits including HBO's "Crashing" and "Divorce," and she has appeared on "Trainwreck," "Chappelle's Show," "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver," "The Last OG," as well as late-night stops with Colbert and Conan. She's also a festival favorite worldwide, having performed at Montreal's Just For Laughs, the Melbourne and Glasgow Comedy Festivals, and Bonnaroo, among others.

• Gemma Smith: Producer of NYC's premiere cat-themed cabaret, Catbaret, burlesque performer and host of the Tails & Tassels podcast.
