BWW Preview: 7 Reasons to See WICKED at the Fox Cities P.A.C.

If you haven't already purchased tickets to see the smash-hit musical Wicked at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, it's high time to consider seeing the popular show. Wicked will be at the Fox Cities P.A.C. for another run from August 30 through September 10. Here are just a few reasons to see it.
1. Wicked a global phenomenon.
Not only is it the second highest grossing show in Broadway history, it has appeared in over a dozen different countries and has millions of fans.
2. Wicked is enjoyable whether it's your first time seeing it or your 500th.
If you're going in green, there is plenty to surprise and delight you. But if you're an experienced fan of the show, chances are you'll still notice slight differences and nuances in each performance you see.
3. The visuals are spectacular.
The set is huge and elaborate. The costuming is vibrant. All in all, the staging is every bit as grand and magical as you could possibly hope for.

Be brave. Be yourself. Be a good friend. They may be simple lessons, but they still resonate with audiences.

Even if you're not a musical theater fan, you've probably heard of hit numbers like "Defying Gravity" and "Popular." Composer Stephen Schwartz definitely has a way with catchy, entertaining numbers.
6. Wicked is appropriate for children and adults alike.
The lessons are both timeless and ageless, and anyone can connect with the plot. The magical elements will pull children in but also delight adults. This makes Wicked ideal family fare.
7. The movie of Wicked is set for release in late 2019.
Whether you want to catch the stage production again before the movie release or see it for the first time, seeing the show on stage before you see the movie is a fun way to compare and contrast. Plus, that way you can tell your friends what the movie gets wrong.
