BEATLES VS ROLLING STONES MUSICAL SHOWDOWN Will Come to Alaska This Month
Performances will run June 17-25, 2026.
Anchorage audiences will have the chance to experience a high-energy musical faceoff this summer when “Beatles VS Rolling Stones Musical Showdown” comes to the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts from June 17-25, 2026.
Presented by DRB Productions, the concert-style event will pit the music of two of rock’s most legendary bands against one another in a live theatrical showdown celebrating the enduring catalogs of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Performances are scheduled for the Discovery Theatre in Anchorage, with additional performances planned at Soldotna Creek Park during the engagement. Organizers describe the production as “2 Great Bands Battle for Alaska Supremacy,” featuring live musicians performing some of the most recognizable hits from both groups.
The production will feature two tribute bands portraying the iconic British acts, recreating the sound and spirit of the original artists through live performances of classics including “Hey Jude,” “Satisfaction,” “Come Together,” and “Paint It Black.” While a full cast lineup has not yet been announced, the show is expected to feature a rotating ensemble of musicians and vocalists specializing in classic rock tribute performances.
The event is part of the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts’ 2026 live music lineup, which continues to bring touring productions, concerts, comedy acts, dance performances, and theatrical events to downtown Anchorage. Located at 621 W. 6th Ave., the venue remains one of Alaska’s leading destinations for live entertainment.
