Out at Sea at Teatro Paraguas Second Space

Theater Grottesco presents Sławomir Mrożek's Out at Sea, an absurdist comedy running May 14–31, 2026 at Teatro Paraguas' Second Space in Santa Fe. Three men stranded at sea, out of food, resort to votes, speeches, and procedural debates to determine which of them should be eaten—a satirical examination of power, persuasion, and the fragile logic of civilized systems under pressure. The production is directed by Danielle Louise Reddick alongside Grottesco ensemble members, with performances featuring founding Artistic Director John Flax, company member Koppány Pusztai, and puppeteer Kalob Martinez in his Grottesco debut.
