One Woman Solo Show COVER GIRL to be Performed at Teatro Paraguas in August

Malinda LaVelle's Project Thrust is excited to present Cover Girl, the company's fifth evening-length dance-theater performance. Cover Girl is a one-woman solo show performed by founding member and dancer Emmaly Wiederholt. The piece dissects declarations of fraud, dreams of gratification, and the facades people often put on for themselves and for others. In March 2016, artistic director Malinda LaVelle and dancer Emmaly Wiederholt created Cover Girl during a week-long artist residency together at The Peñasco Theater in Peñasco, NM.

Malida resides in Durango, CO, and Cover Girl marks Project Thrust's first performance in the Southwest.
