American Southwest Theatre Company Announces Auditions For 2010 Productions

The American Southwest Theatre Company (ASTC) at New Mexico State University Theatre Arts announces auditions for its Spring 2010 productions. Needed are men and women ages 18-60. Auditions will be held at the Hershel Zohn Theatre on the NMSU campus on Saturday, January 16 from 10 am - 3 pm, with callbacks scheduled for Sunday, January 17. You may sign up for an audition slot on the callboard in the Hershel Zohn Theatre lobby between December 7 through January 15.

All actors are asked to prepare one contemporary comic monologue running no longer than 60 seconds. NMSU Theatre Arts majors only are asked to prepare an additional contrasting monologue running no longer than 60 seconds.

Opening the Spring season will be the company-written piece, THE EURYDICE PROJECT. Performances run February 19 - March 7.

Following will be the hilarious classic comedy, The Government Inspector, adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher. Performances run April 16 through May 2.
