A Moon for the Misbegotten - by Eugene O'Neill, directed by Jim Cady. O'Neill's last completed play, considered a sequel to the Pulitzer Prize winning and autobiographical Long Day's Journey into Night, the story is set eleven years later. Jim Tyrone grasps at a last chance at love. Josie Hogan, the play's heroine, attempts to lift the guilt and sorrow from Tyrone's troubled heart as he confesses to her behavior he can neither forget nor forgive. Witness For The Prosecution - by Agatha Christie, directed by Peter Parkin. Only Agatha Christie could have conceived such a suspenseful thriller and then capped it with an uncanny triple flip ending! A young married man spends many evenings with a rich old woman. When she is found murdered, the naive young man becomes the chief suspect. Roots Revival – directed by Regina Bell-Dawley. This original cabaret production celebrates February's Black History Month. The Dining Room - by A. R. Gurney, directed by Kevin McGuire and Cheryl Atkins. This award-winning comedy of manners features more than 50 characters in 18 overlapping vignettes. It explores the evolution of the upper-middle-class family, and revolves around the same set of antique dining room furniture. The play is set in the dining room of a typical well-to-do household, the place where the family assembled daily for breakfast and dinner and for any and all special occasions. Beautiful Bodies - by Laura Cunningham, directed by Bradd Howard. This show is a juicy, jazzy party with a bottomless punch bowl of wit. They come together for an evening of wine, fun and gossip that quickly forces their true feelings to the surface in all their wonderful, funny, endearing and heart-wrenching glory! The Drowsy Chaperone - by Bob Martin & Don McKellar; music & lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison, directed by Jane and Cy Hoffman. A comic "musical within a play," this homage to American musicals of the jazz age won 8 Tony Awards in 2006 including best book. The Man In The Chair, a mousy agoraphobic Broadway fanatic seeking to cure his "non specific sadness" listens to a recording of a fictional 1929 musical comedy, "The Drowsy Chaperone." As he listens to this rare recording, he is transported into the musical. The characters appear in his dingy apartment, and it is transformed into a Broadway set. From time to time The Man in the Chair tries to insert his extensive but trivial knowledge of musical performances and actors. Anne of Green Gables - adapted by Joseph Robinette from the novel by L.M. Montgomery, directed by Courtney Wilgus. This new dramatization captures the charm and excitement of L.M. Montgomery’s enduring classic about an orphan girl, Anne Shirley, from her first encounter with her austere guardian to her thrilling graduation from Queen’s Academy. The play faithfully recreates the memorable events and characters from the brilliant novel.
