Michael Feinstein Welcomes Cheyenne Jackson, Wayne Brady, et al. for GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK

Michael Feinstein joins the Los Angeles Philharmonic conducted by Jack Everly and special guests Wayne Brady, Florence Henderson, Cheyenne Jackson and Dick Van Dyke and the Vantastix, for Michael Feinstein and the Singing Stars of Television at the Hollywood Bowl on Friday and Saturday, July 29 and 30, at 8:30 p.m. The evening features classic and popular songs from the Great American Songbook - from Gershwin and Berlin to New Orleans jazz and Broadway musicals.

Michael Feinstein, the multi-platinum-selling, five-time Grammy-nominated entertainer dubbed "The Ambassador of the Great American Songbook," is considered one of the premier interpreters of American standards. His 200-plus shows a year have included performances at such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, the White House and Buckingham Palace. Additionally, his CD "The Sinatra Project" earned him a fifth Grammy Award nomination in 2009. The follow up recording and PBS special, "The Sinatra Legacy," will be available later in 2011. More than simply a performer, Feinstein is nationally recognized for his commitment to celebrating America's popular song and preserving its legacy for the next generation.

Wayne Brady, one of the most versatile performers in show business today, is a multiple Emmy winner and Grammy nominee. Brady has guest-starred on "The Dave Chappelle Show," "30 Rock," "How I Met Your Mother," "Dirt," and "Everybody Hates Chris." His improvisational skills on ABC's "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" led to one Emmy and four Emmy nominations. Brady's own "The Wayne Brady Show" won him two Emmys for Outstanding Talk Show Host and one for Outstanding Talk Show. Brady returns to the Hollywood Bowl after last season's critically acclaimed performance as "Tom Collins" in Rent.

Florence Henderson has endured as one of the most beloved American entertainers of the last six decades, beginning at the tender age of 6 when she literally sang for her supper during the Depression. After only a year at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, she was discovered and became a protégé of the legendary Rodgers and Hammerstein and enjoyed a stellar Broadway career. Before her iconic role as Carol Brady of "The Brady Bunch," Henderson anchored "The Today Show," became the first woman to fill in for "Tonight Show" host Johnny Carson, and made regular appearances on popular game shows. In November 2008, Henderson was inducted into the Smithsonian Institute's first permanent Entertainment History Exhibit as one of the greatest pop cultural icons of all time.

Making his Hollywood Bowl debut, Cheyenne Jackson is a multi-talented award-winning stage, film, and television actor. He is currently appearing on Fox's hit TV series "Glee" as Dustin Goolsby, the new coach of Vocal Adrenaline, and has appeared for the last two seasons on NBC's "30 Rock" as fresh-faced Canadian Danny Baker. He will soon be seen on HBO's final season of "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Additional television credits include "Family Practice," "Life on Mars," "Lipstick Jungle," "Ugly Betty," "Law and Order," and "It Takes a Village."

Entertainment icon Dick Van Dyke, whose memoir My Life In and Out of Show Business (Random House) was a New York Times bestseller, cites music as his primary passion. He garnered three Emmy awards for "The Dick Van Dyke Show" and became a beloved film star of the 60s and 70s with roles in "Bye Bye Birdie," "Mary Poppins," "Lt. Robin Crusoe, USN," "Divorce American Style," "Chitty Chitty Bang-Bang," "The Comic," "Some Kind of a Nut," "Cold Turkey," and "The Runner Stumbles." Within the last decade, he's been back on Broadway, singing, dancing, and receiving standing ovations with Chita Rivera in A Dancer's Life; performing with the Vantastix at the Geffen; appearing at Walt Disney Concert Hall and for President and Mrs. Obama at Ford's Theater in Washington, D.C.

Jack Everly is the Principal Pops Conductor of the Baltimore and Indianapolis Symphony Orchestras, Naples Philharmonic Orchestra and National Arts Centre Orchestra (Ottawa), and Music Director of the National Memorial Day Concert and A Capitol Fourth on PBS.
