Wichita's Music Theatre for Young People produces four full Broadway musicals during each school year. Their current production of LIL' ABNER will end its run on April 25th.

‘LIL ABNER will play April 23-25. The stage musical adaptation of Al Capp's popular syndicated comic strip is centered on the town of Dogpatch, declared to be the "most unnecessary town" in the U.S. and therefore is to be turned into a nuclear testing site. The baby tonic Abner has been fed all his life is discovered to be a potion that makes men strong and handsome, but utterly uninteresting. Come see how the town is ultimately saved.

The theater also offers summer and winter theatre camps, as well as special activities such as Girl Scout Theater Badge Workshops and Audition Workshops. For more information, visit online at www.mtypks.org.
