The Washington Stage Guild welcomes 2011 with a witty fairy tale of a comedy, Magic by G.K. Chesterton. An aristocratic family reunion gets more than entertainment when the hired magician begins to challenge the limits of deception in ways that call both faith and reason into question: is it more unsettling to have your beliefs refuted, or your doubts? Gilbert Keith Chesterton was one of the twentieth century's greatest wits and a prolific writer whose works include the novel, The Man Who Was Thursday, and the Father Brown Mystery Stories.

Directed by Alan Wade and featuring Nick DePinto, Madeline Ruskin, Matt Bassett, David Bryan Jackson, Vincent Clark, Lynn Steinmetz and Daniel Kenner.
