During Spring 2009 (March –May), the League of Washington Theatres is again presenting Stages for All Ages, a program that introduces thousands of young people to live, professional theatre throughout the Washington area.  This marks the 11th year for this popular program.

For select performances, 23 theatres and performing arts organizations throughout the Washington area are offering a free ticket to a young person 17 or under, with each regularly priced adult ticket purchased.  Tickets are on sale now.  Patrons should contact participating organizations to purchase tickets.

In the first ten years of Stages for All Ages, thousands of young people were introduced to the richness and diversity of professional theatre in the Washington area.  This year continues the tradition with program offerings include a wide variety of theatre and music across the Washington area.  Many productions will delight the whole family; some productions may appeal primarily to younger children, while others are more appropriate for middle and/or high school students.
