Theatre503 is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Shepherd as their new Executive Director.

Andrew comments, I'm thrilled to be joining Theatre 503 to work with Paul and his brilliant team. As a passionate advocate of new writing and supporting emerging talent, it's incredibly exciting to be part of one of London's best venues for groundbreaking new work.

Paul Robinson, Artistic Director of Theatre503, comments, Jeremy will be sorely missed but I couldn't be happier for him. His accession to the role of Associate Producer at ETT proves again that a tenure at 503 makes someone incredibly valuable in the industry. I'm delighted that Andrew is joining us as Executive Director. His extensive experience in producing, development, law and finance position him perfectly to be a huge success in the role. I'm certain he will be a perfect fit with us here and I look forward to welcoming in as part of our team.

Andrew originally trained as an actor at LAMDA after completing a law degree at Newcastle University. He founded ACS Random in 2002 with a dedication to new writing and making classic works relevant to a modern audience and has produced their output since then as well as directing a number of their recent productions including Much Ado About Nothing and Hamlet at Park Theatre, London. Andrew is the author of 10 plays and a series of shorts for children which have been performed in Edinburgh, London, Singapore and the US. He co-wrote the award winning short film adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's Little Claus & Big Claus narrated by Stephen Fry and the feature film Showreel with a cast including Matthew Kelly, Patrick Ryecart, David Fynn and Jeany Spark, which he also co- produced. He was a fundraiser in the charity sector for a number of years before moving to Young Actors Theatre Islington as Development Manager responsible for income generation, marketing and business development.

Theatre503's spring season has just recently been announced. The season stages four diverse new plays including work from Adrian Mole's Jake Brunger and 503 veteran Stuart Slade.
