FRONT ROW CENTRE Curtain going up! Take your seats located FRONT ROW CENTRE for a tour of the best shows on Broadway. Beginning November 12th and continuing each Sunday night from 7 until 8 PM FOXY 88.5 and theatre reviewer Mark Andrew Lawrence will offer a full presentation from Overture to Finale of one of Broadway's biggest hits. You'll hear the story and major songs from each show, as well as fascinating behind-the-scenes anecdotes. A weekly intermission feature will present news of upcoming openings and closings as well as backstage interviews with the performers and creators who put the glitter and glamour in the world of musical theatre. FOXY 88.5 is a Toronto radio station devoted to "music with class" featuring the best artists of the past 60 years: Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Rosemary Clooney, Sarah Vaughn, Michael Buble, Bette Midler, Abba, Gordon Lightfoot, Petula Clark, BJ Thomas, Paul Simon, Barbra Streisand, and Johnny Mathis are just a few of the featured artists. Mark Andrew Lawrence Mark Andrew Lawrence began his broadcasting career as music director for St. Catharines radio station CHRE. After six years there and eight years at classical station CFMX, he created FRONT ROW CENTRE to supply theatre reviews and articles to magazines, newspapers, and broadcasters across the greater Toronto area. Mark Andrew Lawrence maintains an extensive collection of over 3,500 Broadway show recordings in all formats (78 RPM singles, 45 RPM album, 10 & 12-inch Lps, and Compact discs) dating back to the early years of the 20th century.
