The frontwoman for Adelaide cover band Chunky Custard and former Formula One Grid Girl Becky Blake is back for the 2013 Fringe with two shows; her acclaimed Piano Chicks (a sellout in 2012) will return to The Promethean, 116 Grote Street Adelaide for three performances only on 2, 10 and 12 March. Her new show Piano Boys will premiere at The Highway, 290 Anzac Highway Plympton on 22 February and then transfer to The Promethean for three performances on 2, 10 and 13 March.

Piano Chicks is a 90 minute cabaret with Becky on piano and lead vocals. The show weaves the tales and tunes of a dozen piano chicks together along with anecdotes from Becky's own international career.

Piano Chicks is supported by a dynamic band comprising Gary Isaacs - MD and bass (Taylor Made, Catherine Lambert); Andrew Bignell - drums (Goose, Zkye); Sandy Hosking - cello (Acoustic Juice); Paul White - Hammond organ (Lucifer's Lounge) along with members from the Brighton Secondary School Choir, Becky's former high school.

Becky says 'Piano Chicks give the audience the opportunity to reflect upon life over a drink or six; love found, lost or unrequited. Youth, growing up, celebration, friendship, conquests. It's a show about the girls who sit behind the piano for a living; from Carole King and Carly Simon, Tori Amos and Sarah McLaughlin, Norah Jones and Diana Krall, Alicia Keys and more.'

Piano Chicks' song list includes; I Feel the Earth Move; Superwoman; It's Too Late; Scar; You're So Vain; Don't Know Why; Nobody Does it Better; Angel; Cornflake Girl and Foolish Games.

Whilst Piano Chicks covers the women, the glamour, the gossip and the music Becky's new show Piano Boys features the music of Elton John, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Peter Allen, Ray Charles, John Lennon and more.

Piano Boys is supported by the same band as Piano Chicks plus special guest artist, Ian Blake (Becky's husband who is also a member of Chunky Custard). 'It's a riotous celebration of talent, flamboyance and fruitiness plus all the gossip, drama, costumes, tiaras and tantrums. And that's just the boys!' says Becky.
