The Lyceum Theatre continues its 50th season with Red, White & Tuna!

The show will run Saturday July 3, through Sunday July 11. Tickets are still available and can be purchased on line at www.lyceumtheatre.org or by calling 660-837-3311.

The much anticipated third installment in the Greater Tuna trilogy takes the audience through another satirical ride into the hearts and minds of the polyester-clad citizens of Texas' third smallest town. Two comic masters, Lyceum Theatre artistic director Quin Gresham and Lyceum favorite Daryl Vaughan, ignite the stage playing all 24 firecracker characters from Tuna, Texas.

It's the 4th of July-time for the Tuna High School Reunion! Along with Tuna's perennial favorites, some new Tuna denizens burst into the 4th of July Tuna High School Class Reunion. This sets the stage for a show full of fireworks and fun from the land where the Lion's Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies.

2010 marks Mr. Gresham's sixth season as the Lyceum's Artistic Director. He has been a frequent Company member at the Lyceum since 1999. Quin opened the 2010 50th Anniversary season with The Producers wearing his director's hat. In 2009, he directed both Hairspray and Sleuth. Over the past 11 years and more than 40 productions at the Lyceum, Quin's favorite acting roles include James Leeds in Children of a Less God, George Kitteredge in The Philadelphia Story, Ben in The Sunshine Boys, Dr. Sanderson in Harvey, Bud Frump in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Algernon in The Importance of Being Earnest, and Tom in The Glass Menagerie. Outside of the Lyceum Theatre Mr. Gresham has enjoyed working at Totem Pole Playhouse, The Riverside Theatre, The National Arts Club, Providence College, Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre and The Texas Shakespeare Festival.

Playing opposite Quin Gresham will be Lyceum veteran Daryl Vaughan. Since his first season at the Lyceum in 1983, Daryl has been associated with over 50 productions as an actor, director and choreographer. A few of Mr. Vaughan's past Lyceum productions include: West Side Story, Romeo and Juliet, Once Upon A Mattress, Barefoot in The Park, Our Town, Cotton Patch Gospel, The Buck Stops Here, Smoke On The Mountain and Gypsy. Most recently, Daryl wowed the Lyceum audiences as Edna Turnblad in the 2009 production of Hairspray.

Directing Red, White And Tuna will be Kat Singleton. Ms. Singleton's other directing credits at the Lyceum include Bus Stop, Don't Dress For Dinner, and Proof. She comes to Arrow Rock via Webster University Conservatory of Theatre Arts where she teaches Acting and Improvisation.

The production team for Red, White And Tuna is made up of Brian Saxton, scenic designer; Randy B. Winder, resident lighting designer; Evan Prizant, costume designer; Ryan Matthew Hall, sound designer.

The production stage manager is Tony Dearing. Assistant stage manager is Emilee Buchheit.
