Thoroughly Modern Millie is an effervescent musical romp filled with frisky flappers, dashing leading men, and a dragon lady of a villainess. It's 1922 in New York City, and a young Millie Dillmount has just moved to the Big Apple in search of a new life. Her grand plan is to find a job as a secretary for a wealthy man and then marry him. However, her plan goes completely awry. Millie's wealthy boss is slow in proposing marriage, and the man she actually falls in love with doesn't have a dime to his name - or so he tells her. What's a small town girl to do?

Based on the 1967 film of the same name, Thoroughly Modern Millie opened on Broadway in April 2002. Featuring hit songs such as "Gimme Gimme" and "Not for the Life of Me," the production subsequently won six Tony Awards and five Drama Desk Awards, including the win for Best Musical at both award ceremonies. This production is part of Music Theatre International's Broadway Junior collection, which re-formats full-length productions for young performers, while still maintaining the fun and excitement of the original.

The cast features more than 40 Midlands teens in 7th -12th grade including Lily Aiken, Cheyenne Altman, Noah Barker, Henry Barry, Zarina Cameron, Ashlyn Chapiesky, Alex Cone, Megan Crutchfield, Erin Daly, Olivia Davis, Josh Diveley, Taylor Diveley, Marissa Duffield, Isabella Fleischer, Jordan Fritts, Kaitlyn Fuller, Kyeem Harris, Matthew Harter, Chase Hastings, Emma Imholz, David Jeffrey, Tucker Kinsey, Sarah Krawczyk, Kell Lessley, Mahogany McCreary, Ally Montgomery, Emma Myers, Caroline Quinn, Nathaniel Riley, Olivia Robinson, Bailey Sendler, Mary Smith, Sami Specht, Sadie Stanley, Brianna Surface, Gracie Tanner, Grayson Taylor, Chadori Verette, Carter Verwers, Cameron Vipperman, Ashton Waters, Isabelle Wood, Ainsley Woodbrown, and Maddison Yates.
