?Adoption is a concept that so many people in the world do not understand. Thola Antamu (black) and her mother (white), share their adoption story with the hope of sharing advice, joys, fears and happiness with an audience who is willing and open to listen, learn, share, and create a warm safe space for the many new families that are thinking about, wanting to and have adopted in South Africa. Society wants to tick boxes that we do not want to fit into. This is our story.
