Last night, Moulin Rouge! celebrated its first preview outside the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Following the performance, the cast greeted fans on the fire escape and showered them with rose petals.

Dancing with the Stars' champion Derek Hough made his Broadway debut in 'Burn the Floor' for the shows' last performances on January 8-10, at the Longacre Theatre. Hough partnered with Kym Johnson. Hough replaces Maksim Chmerkovskiy who danced his final performance on January 7.
Mary Murphy, the enthusiastic and passionate judge on 'So You Think You Can Dance,' made her Broadway debut on Tuesday, December 22nd when she joined the sizzling cast of BURN THE FLOOR, including current stars Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Kym Johnson of 'Dancing with the Stars.' Kym, who made her Broadway debut in BURN THE FLOOR on November 27th, took home this season's coveted DWTS Mirror Ball Trophy with partner Donny Osmond. Maks returns to the show after making his Broadway debut in BURN THE FLOOR in July.
BURN THE FLOOR was the first Broadway show of the new season and opened August, going on to break box office records at the Longacre Theatre. Initially scheduled for a 12 week run, the show has just announced its third and final extension through February 24 2010 before embarking on Australian, Asian and U.S. tours. Three additional guest stars to join the company for the show's final extension on Broadway are Mary Murphy, Edyta Sliwinska and Alec Mazo on January 12.
