Award-winning Retro Productions kicks off its 2019 season with one of the longest running Broadway comedies of the 1960's, Mary, Mary written by Jean Kerr. The witty revival runs May 3 - 18 at the Gene Frankel Theatre in SoHo. Shay Gines who previously directed Retro's revival of And Mrs. Reardon Drinks A Little, directs. Opening night is slated for Friday, May 3.

The new drama, featuring an all female ensemble, will bow at St. John's Lutheran Church on Christopher Street in January of 2018. Set to star in the production is Helen Hayes Award-winner Patti Mariano as Sister Mary Cecelia (Broadway: Original Cast of The Music Man, George M!, The Full Monty and more) and newcomer Ashleigh Awusie as Sister Mary Azu (Ain't Never Been Easy). Award-winning director Peter Darney (5 Guys Chillin') directs the limited engagement.

Like the iconic rooftop musician, playful yet reverent Tevye teeters between his respect for tradition and his love for his daughters, each anxious to follow her heart after a suitor her father finds unsuitable. One of the most beloved musicals ever, Fiddler on the Roof is a heart-warming and at times humorous look at a family living though tumultuous times. Martin Markinson and Jeff Tick are pleased to announce that Monday, March 12th marks the 100th anniversary of the Little/Helen Hayes Theatre (240 West 44th Street), which opened on March 12, 1912 with John Galsworthy's play THE PIGEON. The theatre is currently home to the smash hit musical Rock of Ages. A private centennial celebration at the theatre is confirmed for Thursday, May 24, 2012. More than 250 Eugene O'Neill Theater Center alumni gathered at The Players Club in New York City on Monday evening, February 1 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the O'Neill's National Theater Institute. Joining the party were alumni from NTI and its Moscow Art Theater Semester and Theatermakers programs, as well as alumni from the O'Neill's renowned summer Conferences: National Playwrights Conference, National Music Theater Conference, National Puppetry Conference, Cabaret & Performance Conference and National Critics Institute.
