Spring Awakening on Stage Videos - US Tour

Broadway veteran Matt Doyle (THE BOOK OF MORMON, WAR HORSE, SPRING AWAKENING) will release his first full-length album -- UNCONTROLLED -- on February 26th, 2016. Below, check out a just-released music video for 'Moment.'

Duncan Sheik has a busy year ahead of him! Contributing music to The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey, which just opened at the Westside Theatre, he now travels to Poughkeepsie to work on his new musical, Noir, at Vassar's 2015 Powerhouse season. Soon after, rehearsals begin for the first Broadway revival of Spring Awakening, and then he starts preparing for the Broadway transfer of his musical version of American Psycho. Below, he updates BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge on his crazy year ahead!

Our featured composer this week is Ryan Scott Oliver. Jonathan Groff performed a concert at Joe's Pub on June 20th in New York City. According to Zap2it.com Groff was joined by Craig Taborn, Ben Perowsky, Jonathan Haffiner, Eivind Opsvik and Kenny Wollesen. Groff performed songs such as 'Here I Go Again,' and 'You Don't Know My Name,' as well as 'Mama Who Bore Me,' from SPRING AWAKENING.

Tony-winner Lin-Manuel Miranda and internet sensation 'Miranda Sings' have taken on 'The Word Of Your Body' from Spring Awakening in a new YouTube video....that you need to see to believe.

Fela!, the critically acclaimed new musical based on the life and music of groundbreaking African composer, performer and activist Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, is directed and choreographed by Tony® Award-winner Bill T. Jones (Spring Awakening), with a book by Jim Lewis and Bill T. Jones. Sahr Ngaujah and Kevin Mambo play the title character at alternate performances, while the world renowned Antibalas and other members of the NYC Afrobeat community, under the direction of Aaron Johnson, perform Kuti's rousing music live onstage.

Lea Michele, star of Broadway's 'Spring Awakening' and currently seen in FOX's mega-hit show 'Glee', paid an unpublicized visit to ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' on Thursday night. During her apperance, Michele promoted the upcoming December 29 DVD release of the 'Glee' fall season, and the newly released ;Glee: The Music Vol. 2' CD. Michele also confirmed that her 'Spring Awakening' co-star, Jonathan Groff, will make a guest appearance on 'Glee' when the show returns from its hiatus in April.

BWW TV caught all the action as the show's creators discussed the story, the acclaimed cast sang the songs and audience learned more about the sensation that is Spring Awakening.

Spring Awakening and Les Miserables at the Hollywood Bowl star Lea Michele will be performing at Upright Cabaret in Mark's Restaurant (861 N. La Cienega Blvd) on August 15-16, 2008.
