Amy Wilson's One-Woman Show 'Mother Load' To Begin National Tour

The critically acclaimed off-Broadway production of Amy Wilson's one-woman show MOTHER LOAD is embarking on a National Tour. Originally slated for a 7 week run in New York City in May 2007, MOTHER LOAD ran for 9 weeks to sold-out houses. After seeing the show, The Road Company knew that MOTHER LOAD belonged on the road. Paper Mill Playhouse Announces 'Little Shop' Casting

Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Artistic Director, Mark W. Jones-Executive Director) announces its mainstage production of Little Shop of Horrors, a musical written by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman. It's a musical comedy to die for - literally! The musical is based on Roger Corman's 1960 sci-fi comedy and includes several show-stopping numbers including 'Skid Row (Downtown),' 'Somewhere That's Green,' and 'Suddenly Seymour,' as well as the title song. Rick Crom's Newsical at Upstairs at Studio 54 (located at 254 West 54th Street between 8th and Broadway) announces the collaboration between celebrity buzz buff Michael Musto and Newsical creator Rick Crom. Every month, Musto will tip Crom off to his imminent scoops, complete with extra salacious details when applicable. Crom, in a frenzy, will then churn out what is essentially a musicalized version of the column, with a few more added endowments. The song will be called 'The Michael Musto Song', and will premiere at the Wednesday, March 2nd performance. Each new 'Musto Song' will premiere on the first Wednesday of every month. (more...)
