Greasepaint Youtheatre presents PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, MAY 5 - 14, 2017, a playful  prequel to the Peter Pan story.Rick Elice (JERSEY BOYS, and the musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY) brings to life the Tony-winning story of Peter Pan before he became the boy who wouldn't grow up.  Elice adapted a children's book series by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson into a high seas adventure for the stage, complete with an unwilling band of orphans, Molly, a courageous young girl, and a mysterious cargo onboard the Neverland.  The ship is taken over by pirates and the children use their guile and a little magic to keep the treasure out of the pirates' hands. High seas pursuit, hurricanes, mermaids and shipwrecks make for a breathtaking journey. It's all brought to life by a handful of actors who create a story with over a hundred characters.  (more...)
