Based on the play by Arthur Kopit

Emily was an aviatrix who fearlessly walked on the wings of the family biplane. Just as she once plummeted dizzyingly through space, she is now falling through inner space as the result of a stroke. This extraordinary musical takes us inside Emilyís mind as she finds the light at the end of the tunnel in the cave of her memory. With breathtaking simplicity, WINGS charts her recovery as she regains her spirit to achieve new heights. Starring Ann Crumb. Directed by Jesse Cline.

BWW Blog: Christopher Panella - The Beginning of Show Season and the Auditions that Come with It
by Guest Blogger: Christopher Panella - Aug 19, 2016

Hello, readers! After taking a short break from blogging to enjoy family time, I come back with a blog about the most stressful time of the year: audition time. As show season begins and drama clubs start long rehearsals, line learning, and vocal lessons, we theatre kids jump back into what we do best. However, starting the long process towards show day that we enjoy so much starts with one agonizing event: auditioning. Yes, I know, I've previously written about how much I love and enjoy auditions because of the creative opportunities and exploration they offer, but no person can deny that audition week is the most nerve racking experience (show week is a close second). Thus, I present a guide to handling this time of year with, as Meryl Streep said at the Democratic National Convention, "grit and grace." (more...)

This book features stories of the Native Americans with original art by award winning artist C.L. Hause. Contained in 206 pages, this book offers an enjoyable look into the history of the Native American Indian. Before the time of books, computers, tablets and recording devices, the history of many cultures was passed down, from person to person, by word of mouth. The rich histories of so many people were told in songs, chants, poems and stories. This was and still is the way of Native American tribes. Each in its own way enriching their stories with their own experiences. By reliving these stories and songs, we have the opportunity to bring life back to the ancient spirits that created them. We have a chance to walk with the spirits of the past. Being there were so many different tribes with countless beliefs and customs, the only way to understand their ways is through understanding their stories. This book shows a wide landscape of different tribes and hopefully present a true look at their beliefs.
