When THE MARSHALL TUCKER BAND played their 12/31/78 show at The Warehouse in New Orleans, it was simulcast on over 150 radio stations nationwide, making it the most widely-heard rock concert of its time. Now, RAMBLIN' RECORDS is releasing the concert on gatefold double LP and CD for the first time. The album will first be available at independent record stores only on November 29 as a 'RSD First' in conjunction with Record Store Day's Black Friday event. It will then be available online and everywhere else in late January.

More than 450 guests were starstruck at Goodman Theatre's May 18 Spring Gala, headlined by Broadway star and Tony Award nominee Megan Hilty. One of the most important, influential, and beloved figures in the history of American comedy, Chicago native Bob Newhart has been entertaining audiences around the world for over 50 years. Bob has enjoyed success in television and films as well and hosted the "Tonight Show" an astonishing 87 times. His early TV effort, the "Bob Newhart Variety Show," earned an Emmy Award and a Peabody Award and was followed by the television success of "The Bob Newhart Show" (1972-1978) and "Newhart" (1982-1990). He has appeared in over 14 feature films, including Elf, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, Catch 22 and Legally Blonde 2, and has starred with the likes of Steve McQueen, Bobby Darin, Barbara Streisand, Madeline Kahn and Walter Matthau. He's also provided character voices for major animated films.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association announced today the first details of the 2018 Hollywood Bowl summer season, with the entire season to be announced in February 2018. Trailblazing pop-rock group The Go-Go's are set for the July 4th Fireworks Spectacular, with three performances, July 2, 3 and 4. Joining the Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum-selling recording artists is the Los Angeles Philharmonic, led by Thomas Wilkins.
