Further casting has been announced for the Music & Lyrics Limited and West Yorkshire Playhouse production of the much-loved Sherman Brothers musical CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG. From May 4 until 2 October 2, Carrie Hope Fletcher (Les Miserables, War of the Worlds) will play Truly Scrumptious, and from May 4 until August 21, Shaun Williamson (The Railway Children, EastEnders) will play Lord Scrumptious/Baron Bomburst. Phill Jupitus (The Producers, Hairspray), who currently plays the roles of Lord Scrumptious and Baron Bomburst, returns to the show from August 24. While she carefully crafts sexy, romantic garments for others, she cannot "sew" the seeds of love for herself. Her loneliness is replaced by optimism when romantic letters from a mysterious stranger begin arriving. Official: Alfie Boe and Sally Ann Triplett Will Fly Into FINDING NEVERLAND This Spring

It's official! Tony Award-winner Alfie Boe, the British tenor acclaimed for his role as 'Jean Valjean' in the widely watched 2010 25th anniversary special televised concert at London's O2 arena of LES MISERABLES, and then again in the West End's 2011 production, will take over the role of 'J.M. Barrie' in Broadway's FINDING NEVERLAND on Tuesday, March, 29. No word yet on whether he will travel with the show when it returns to London in January 2017.  (more...)

The producers of Broadway's Finding Neverland  have regretfully announced that the beloved stage and screen actress Sandy Duncan, who recently joined the magical production in the role of Madame Du Maurier, must take an immediate, yet temporary leave of absence from the show due to family obligations. The entire company looks forward to warmly welcoming Ms. Duncan back to Neverland as soon as she's able to return. The show, playing at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street), will continue with its current stars Tony Yazbeck, Kelsey Grammer and Laura Michelle Kelly, supported by a cast of Broadway's best. Lehmann Maupin is pleased to present Hernan Bas' Bright Young Things, the artist's fourth solo exhibition with the gallery, featuring new paintings on canvas and paper. Bas draws from a pool of references found in art, poetry, religion, mythology, film, and literature. In this recent series, he turns his attention specifically to 1920s London, and a group of young, bohemian aristocrats that emerged post-World War I. The artist will be present for an opening reception at the gallery on Thursday, March 10 from 6-8 PM. According to the New York Post,  current LES MISERABLES star Alfie Boe, who departs that show at the end of February, has his next gig lined up. The paper reports he 'will be stepping into the starring role of "Finding Neverland," ... Boe will play "Peter Pan" creator J.M. New Billys Announced for BILLY ELLIOT UK/Ireland Tour

The producers of the multi award-winning smash hit Billy Elliot the Musical are delighted to announce that the four boys who will play the title role in the first ever UK and Ireland tour of the iconic musical are Adam Abbou (12 years old from Liverpool), Matthew Lyons (11 years old from Leeds), Haydn May (11 years old from Bath) and Lewis Smallman (12 years old from West Bromwich). The boys were cast following nationwide auditions and after months of intensive rehearsals will alternate in the role when the show opens at the Theatre Royal Plymouth on Wednesday 24 February 2016.
