In 2022, Wisconsin is trying to make “fetch” happen with performances of Broadway’s National Tour of Mean Girls happening at Marcus Performing Arts Center (Jan. 25-30), Fox Cities Performing Arts Center (Week of Aug. 22) and Overture Center for the Arts (Aug. 30-Sep. 4).

Cole Porter, the most Francophile of the big five American composers of the American songbook, with Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern, George Gershwin, and Richard Rodgers, spent almost a decade in Paris just after World War I immersing himself French language and culture and developing his craft as a composer and lyricist of sophisticated and semi-autographical ditties full of double entendre, trying them out as a dilettante pianist in the party scenes of the roaring 20s not only in Paris but also in Venice, before taking on Broadway by storm the following decade.

Reprising their roles from the 2019-2020 season are Danielle Wade as Cady Heron, Megan Masako Haley as Gretchen Wieners, Jonalyn Saxer as Karen Smith, Mary Kate Morrissey as Janis Sarkisian, Eric Huffman as Damian Hubbard, Adante Carter as Aaron Samuels, Kabir Bery as Kevin G. and Lawrence E. Street as Mr. Duvall.

For their 38th season at Undermain they are creating an exciting array of diverse performance opportunities to inspire and enrich our community and support artists in North Texas. They hope to be able to offer live performances in addition to the virtual streaming videos for each production.

Palm Beach Dramaworks has announced that it will be reopening its doors for the 2021-2022 season with a full slate of five plays at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre. Opening night is set for Friday, October 15, and new health and safety protocols will be in place.

minihorse have announced their debut LP, Living Room Art, coming on Park The Van Records in the Summer of 2019 with what Stereogum calls the 'catchy as hell, introspective enough to provoke existential thought, yet somehow calming all at the same time' single 'Drink You Dry', which features Anna Burch on guitar and vocals. The 'reverb-drenched layering [that] adds to that disembodied sense of drifting into another dimension' is a perfect introduction to the sludgy, My Bloody Valentine meets 90s indie-rock that comprise the minihorse's 10 track debut record.
