Berkshire Theatre Group (BTG) and Kate Maguire (Artistic Director/CEO) are thrilled to announce an additional Unicorn Theatre production, the comedic double feature: Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You and The Actor's Nightmare, featuring Tony Award-winner, Harriet Harris (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Phantom Thread, Frasier; BTG: Arsenic and Old Lace) as Sister Mary Ignatius.This cast also features Jenn Harris (Silence! The Musical, Modern Orthodox; BTG: Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Heidi Chronicles), Tom Story (BTG: The Glass Menagerie,Camelot, The Heidi Chronicles) and Matthew Sullivan (The Roads to Home; BTG:Arsenic and Old Lace).

Previews begin tomorrow, Tuesday, February 27, 2018, for Edward Albee's Three Tall Women. Three Tall Women stars two-time Academy Award-winner Glenda Jackson, Tony Award winner, three-time Emmy Award winner, and 2018 Academy Award nominee Laurie Metcalf, and Tony Award nominee Alison Pill. This production is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello and produced by Scott Rudin. Three Tall Women will have an official opening night on Thursday, March 29 at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street).

Three of New Jersey's top corporations, Bank of America, The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey, and PSEG Foundation, have once again joined forces with the New Jersey State Arts Council to support the 21st annual  Stages Festival ("Stages"). Stages will offer over 90 theatre performances and programs for children and adults free of charge or at significantly discounted rates. Events will take place at theatres, art centers, libraries, schools, and other community venues from March 1st to the 31st, across the state.

Redhouse Arts Center is thrilled to inaugurate its new City Center home with Ernest Thompson's classic On Golden Pond. Performances will take place March 8-18, 2018 and will mark the first performances at the brand new Redhouse at City Center, located at 400 South Salina Street, which boasts three new theatres, an attached parking garage, full service concession, larger lobby space, and much, much more. The show will feature actor and TV star Fred Grandy, lovingly know as "Gopher" by his millions of fans around the world who watched him on the long-running TV Series The Love Boat. On Golden Pond was adapted to an academy award winning movie in 1981 which starred Henry Fonda who won the Golden Globe and Academy Award for Best Actor in what was his final film role. Don't miss this gorgeously witty and heart warming classic featuring an all star cast.

Led by conductor George Rothman, Riverside Symphony principal players will join Robert Rogers Puppets and actress Eleanor Ruth at Merkin Concert Hall on Sunday afternoon, February 25 at 3:00PM. In a program sure to engage children (ages nine and up) and adults, Camille Saint-Sa ns's disarming Carnival of the Animals and Igor Stravinsky's urbane chamber masterpiece, l'Histoire du soldat, will both be transformed through the magical melding of virtuoso musicianship and exquisite puppetry. The Lover and The Collection will run from September 26-October 29 at the Lansburgh Theatre (450 7th Street NW).

2017 is the Tron Theatre's 35th anniversary year and several milestone events have been programmed to mark this significant birthday.  Central to this programme of activity is our autumn production Brothers Karamazov.

Producer Scott Rudin today announced that two-time Academy Award winning actress Glenda Jackson and three-time Emmy Award winner and 2017 Tony Award nominee Laurie Metcalf will star in the Broadway premiere of Edward Albee's Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece Three Tall Women next spring, in a production directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Joe Mantello.  Beginning preview performances on Tuesday. February 27, 2018, Three Tall Women will have an official opening night on Thursday, March 29.

Court Theatre, under the leadership of Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director Charles Newell and Executive Director Stephen J. Albert, concludes the 2016-2017 Season with the Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy Harvey by Mary Chase, directed by Devon De Mayo. Harvey runs May 11 - June 11, 2017 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Ellis Avenue in Chicago. The Press Opening is Saturday, May 20 at 8:00 p.m.

Thirteen new independent feature projects from Cuba, Chile, Kenya, the UK and the U.S. have been selected for the 2017 Sundance Institute Directors and Screenwriters Labs in Utah's Wasatch Mountains.
