WaterTower Theatre Managing Director Greg Patterson and Associate Artistic Director Kelsey Leigh Ervi today announced casting and creative team details for the Regional Premiere of Silent Sky, directed by Kelsey Leigh Ervi. A new play by Lauren Gunderson, Silent Sky will run January 20-February 12, 2017, in the Canterbury Family Main Stage at the Addison Theatre Centre. The cast features Anastasia Munoz as Henrietta Leavitt, Sarah Elizabeth Price as Margaret Leavitt, Mitchell Stephens as Peter Shaw, Marianne Galloway as Annie Cannon, and Shannon J. BWW Review: Seattle Rep's KING CHARLES III Fails to Live Up to the Hype

There's always a danger in any kind of entertainment that the show will be hyped up so much that when you finally see it, it cannot possibly live up to the image in your mind. I largely think such is the issue with my lack of zeal over “King Charles III”, currently playing at the Seattle Rep. I had heard so much about this one on how funny and original it was but instead what I got was a play that while interesting, felt long winded and only offered me a few scant chuckles. (more...)

Deane Little Theatre, 10 West 64th Street. The show brings together talented kid performers from the stage and screen-many of whom have already appeared on Broadway and on tour-and others who are Broadway bound. The script was penned by mother/daughter writing team Sheryl Berk and Carrie Berk (Peace, Love & Cupcakes: The Musical; Fashion Academy: The Musical) with original songs by Thommie Retter and Rick Hip-Flores (In Transit; Fun Home; Billy Elliot).
