SAG-AFTRA announced today that former Screen Actors Guild President Richard Masur is the 2018 recipient of the President's Award. The award will be presented Saturday during the SAG-AFTRA National Board plenary. Introduced at last year's SAG-AFTRA convention, the President's Award celebrates a member who has given meritorious service to the union and its membership.

Country Music Hall of Fame member and Mississippi native Charley Pride, was honored with another industry accolade recently, celebrating his legendary career as a pioneering Country musician. Pride was inducted into the Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience Hall of Fame class of 2018, on August 25th in Meridian, Mississippi, along with four other recipients; singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett, Photographer William Eggleston, Writer and editor Willie Morris, and Blues musician Howlin' Wolf. Pride also received a 'Walk of Fame' star as part of the ceremony.

Choreographed by Andonis Foniadakis, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, and Ihsan Rustem, the work debuted in Canada to great acclaim last year and the full piece will have its American premiere in this free performance at the Prospect Park Bandshell (Prospect Park West & 9th Street).

Tentatively titled “Privacy,” the film will focus on activist Bill Baird, whose successful 1972 “Eisenstadt v.
