DCPA Announces Full Lineup For Theatre Company's 40th Anniversary Season

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) is proud to announce the 40th season of their Tony-Award winning Theatre Company, the first to be led by incoming Artistic Director Chris Coleman and the 8th season for their unconventional line of programming, Off-Center. The new season kicks off performances on July 11 and will feature 13 productions across seven different venues at the Denver Performing Arts Complex and beyond.

Mosaic Theater Company Announces Its Fourth Season

Mosaic Theater Company of DC announces an eclectic lineup for the 2018-2019 season, offering serious comic release alongside searing indictment; sustaining its commitment to local writers alongside its long-running Voices from a Changing Middle East Festival, while championing intercultural encounters and honoring iconic figures in African-American culture. In addition, Season Four is the first season to achieve gender parity for Mosaic's playwrights: four of the plays are written by men, and four by women.

Cast and Creative Announced for Hub's THE PAVILION

THE HUB continues its 2017-2018 season in March with the return of Hub's inaugural play, THE PAVILION by Craig Wright. Hailed by critics as an 'an Our Town for our time,' this play is by turns poetic and comic, romantic and philosophical. Peter returns to his twenty-year high-school reunion with dreams of winning back Kari, the girl he left behind after an unexpected pregnancy ended their relationship. Standing in Peter's way is Kari's bitter-as-ever resentment, her husband and the fact that Peter still hasn't grown up. As the night progresses, both Peter and Kari are led, through their interactions with a host of characters all played by a virtuosic Narrator, to face the consequences of choices made long ago and start back into life with newfound strength and bittersweet resolve.

Lantern Theater Company Presents THE TEMPEST By William Shakespeare

Lantern Theater Company continues its record-smashing 24th season with The Tempest by William Shakespeare. Lantern Artistic Director Charles McMahon will direct a cast that includes some of Philadelphia's finest actors: Chris Anthony, Peter DeLaurier, J Hernandez, Dave Johnson, John Lopes, Bi Jean Ngo, Ruby Wolf, and Frank X. Performances run Thursday, March 15 through Sunday, April 29, 2018; a full schedule is included in the fact sheet below. George Street Playhouse's AUSTIN THE UNSTOPPABLE to Take Final Bow

George Street Playhouse, now located at 103 College Farm Road in New Brunswick, announced today that it's retiring the popular musical Austin the Unstoppable from its New Jersey repertoire with the conclusion of the 2017-18 academic year. Austin… and the Educational Touring Theatre's other current production, New Kid, are available for booking at schools and organizations through April 2018. New Kid will continue to be available for booking next year.
