Sandbox Radio presents for ONE NIGHT ONLY "The Naked Truth", the 9th installment of the wildly popular radio show recorded LIVE! for podcast, at 8:00 PM, tonight, July 29 at Fremont's most happening theatre, West of Lenin. Featuring new, fresh and locally grown work created just for the radio, Sandbox Radio Live! is written, produced and performed by some of Seattle's hottest stage talent. This latest episode, "The Naked Truth" includes new short audio plays from Seattle playwrightsVincent Delaney and Wayne Rawley, fresh new episodes of Paul Mullin's noir-angel serial Markheim and Scot Augustson's Cousin Katie, Ernest Thayer's classic "Casey at the Bat" directed by Richard Ziman, special guests Angie Louise and The Love Markets, a story (and more!) from actor/writer/photographer and bicycle advocateWille Weir, our fabulous live sfx, special guest soprano Heather Curtis Mullin and tenor Aaron Shanks, original music from composer/music director Jose "Juicy" Gonzales and the SRO, and more surprises...all recorded in front of you, our "studio" audience, and turned into a podcast!

Leslie Law, Producer/Director
Leslie is also the Creator of Sandbox Radio, and has been a theater professional in the NW since taking her MFA at the UW in 1991. She is an award winning actor who has appeared on most of the stages in the NW, including ACT, The Seattle Rep, Seattle Children's, The 5th Avenue and The Village, as well as regionally across the country. She is a core member of Endangered Species Project, which produces great neglected plays with local professional theater artists. A founding member of The Sandbox, Leslie also serves as Webmaster and head of Communications.
Jose Gonzales, Music Director
As a pianist, vocalist and composer Jose works regularly solo and with his jazz trio around the region performing live, and has recorded several albums. He is also a professional actor, appearing as a musician and actor at The Intiman, Seattle Rep, Seattle Children's, Strawberry Theatre Workshop and more. A native of Arlington, WA, received his BFA in Acting at Cornish College of the Arts.
Angie Louise, guest
Head chanteuse/songwriter of Weimar Cabaret band THE LOVE MARKETS (also featuring Sandbox Radio SRO members bassist Dave Pascal and accordionist Rob Witmer...more about the band herehttp://www.the-love-markets.com), Angie is also abeloved comedienne and musical theater actress, and an award winning writer of fiction, poetry and screenplays (recently the film "Ira Finkelstien's Christmas"). http://www.angielouise.com
Willie Weir, guest
Author of 2 books, "Travels with Willie" and "Spokesongs", columnist for Adventure Cyclist magazine and known to public radio listeners for his commentaries on KUOW. His writings have appeared in newspapers across the country and earned him a gold and bronze Lowell Thomas Award, given by the Society of American Travel Writers. An actor, photographer, writer and bicycle advocate who has cycled over 60,000 miles throughout the world.http://www.williweir.com
