Bainbridge Performing Arts is pleased to announce its 2017 - 2018 Theatre Season. From a journey to the heart of fabulous to the neverland you never knew, BPA's adventure-filled 2017 - 2018 lineup is sure to draw interest from people of all ages and all walks of life.

In the words of Kim Hastings with AXS, "Bainbridge Performing Arts could be a primer to the other theaters in the south and mid-Sound on how to do things the right way." Vibrant performances, hit shows, and breathtaking artistry have emerged as the BPA trademark, and - in recent years - BPA has drawn increasing awards and accolades from BroadwayWorld Seattle, Kitsap Sun, South Sound Critics Association, and more.

Don't miss a minute of BPA's 2017 - 2018 Season:

October 13 - 29, 2017 - Based on the smash-hit movie, PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT, THE MUSICAL recounts the heartwarming, uplifting adventure of three friends - Tick, Bernadette, and Adam - a glamorous Sydney-based performing trio who take their show to the middle of the Australian outback. They hop aboard a battered old bus (nicknamed Priscilla) searching for love and friendship and end up reaching their wildest dreams.

December 1 - 17, 2017 - Take a fantastic musical adventure with an out-of-this-world car that flies through the air and sails the seas. Based on the beloved 1968 film version of Ian Fleming's children's book, and featuring an unforgettable score by The Sherman Brothers (Mary Poppins), CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG is one family-friendly adventure that audiences will find "Truly Scrumptious."

March 9 - 25, 2018 - The Tony Award-winning PETER AND THE STARCATCHER upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan comes to be The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up (a.k.a. Peter Pan). From marauding pirates and jungle tyrants to unwilling comrades and unlikely heroes, this wildly theatrical adaptation playfully explores the depths of greed and despair...and the bonds of friendship, duty, and love.

May 4 - 20, 2018 - Loaded with big laughs, colorful characters and the songs that made the '20s roar, BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, THE MUSICAL brings musical comedy back with a bang. Based on the screenplay of the acclaimed 1994 film by Woody Allen and Douglas McGrath, this six-time Tony-nominated musical features hits from the 1920s, including Let's Misbehave, 'Tain't Nobody's Biz-ness If I Do, and There's a New Day Comin'!

Summer 2018 - One of the Bard's most popular romantic tragedies, Romeo & Juliet centers on a long feud between the Montague and Capulet families that disrupts the city of Verona and causes tragic results for Romeo and Juliet. Revenge, love, and a secret marriage force the young star-crossed lovers to grow up quickly - and fate causes them to commit suicide in despair.
