You made your flight, but what if you hadn't? You did the right thing, but what if it wasn't? It all happened one way, but what if it didn't?

Every moment has a choice. Every choice has a story.

This June, Jet City Improv is proud to present the world premier of What If, an improvised play about the stories that exist for the choices that never happened. Inspired by the movies Sliding Doors and Run Lola Run, this unscripted comedy features actors exploring multiple timelines of a story created by choices made by the audience.

"The thing I'm loving most about the rehearsal process is how radically different each show is from all the others," says director Ian Schempp. "One night we will do a melodramatic Victorian Gothic Horror story and the next night it will be a teen relationship dramedy where the kids have super powers."

"I'm hoping the show will challenge the audience to choose to become an active participant in the show rather than a passive viewer."

The ensemble cast features a collection of improvisers and comedians from across Seattle: Phill Arensberg, Britney Barber, Stephani Thompson, Natasha Ransom, Mandy Price, Graham Tordoff, Kinzie Shaw, and Nick Edwards. What If was created by Britney Barber.

What If runs Thursday and Friday nights from June 4 through June 19 with a special opening night gala on June 4 featuring a Q&A with the actors followed by complimentary cake and champagne. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $12 (with ID) for students, seniors, and military personnel and TPS members. This show will contain adult themes and language.
