'Jinkx Monsoon & Major Scales: Together Again, Again!' Comes to Seattle Rep This Month

Seattle Rep has announced the creative team and event details for the final show of the 2023/24 Season, Jinkx Monsoon & Major Scales: Together Again, Again! Featuring fast-paced humor and songs both original and familiar, this saucy and energetic 90-minute comedic cabaret is sure to delight fans of drag, musical theater, and all things camp.
Set in the year 2065 in a dystopian world ruled by aliens, Jinkx Monsoon and Major Scales must face their biggest challenge: can they set aside their decades-long grudges and grievances to put together one final reunion extravaganza? With plenty of songs and bawdy humor, Jinkx Monsoon & Major Scales: Together Again, Again! has been called “wickedly funny” (All That Dazzles UK) and “a great night out for drag aficionados and newcomers alike” (Everything Theatre).
A two-time winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” Jinkx Monsoon is a Pacific Northwest drag legend who has toured the world performing original cabaret shows with music partner Major Scales, including highly-acclaimed shows such as Unwrapped and The Vaudevillians, both previously seen at Seattle Rep. Jinkx has released three critically-hailed albums of original music written by Major Scales, including most recently The Virgo Odyssey (2022). Following her Off-Broadway appearance this spring as Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, later this summer Jinkx is slated to return to Broadway, reprising her groundbreaking role of Matron “Mama” Morton in the musical Chicago.

Throughout the run of this show, Seattle Rep will host a series of events including a post-show actor talk, an ASL Interpretation and Audio Described performance, and a Teen Night in partnership with TeenTix, during which teens can purchase $5 tickets to experience the show.
