June 2: BPA Gallery First Friday Art Walk: "Doors and Windows of New Orleans"
Join us in the BPA Gallery June 2 for an artist reception and a fun evening of art, food, and friends. In his month-long June exhibit at BPA, photographer Marc Shor explores the colorful and historic doors and windows of New Orleans, some of which invite you in while others shut you out. Marc's work may be viewed online at www.shor.smugmug.com/Portfolio.

June 2 & 4: Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra presents Copland Tender Land Suite
Turning to celebrated American composers John Williams and Aaron Copland, Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra brings their monumental season to a peaceful and stunning conclusion. John Williams' music for the Spielberg-directed film Lincoln reveres and mourns the late president while Copland explores socio-economic variability in his opera, The Tender Land. The program also showcases Charlotte Marckx, the 2017 winner of the BSO's annual Young Artist Concerto Competition in a performance of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto.

June 3: The EDGE Improv
Grab your Dad for an early Father's Day laugh. Head to BPA for The EDGE Improv on June 3 as the troupe delivers an ingeniously improvised evening of on-the-spot comedy, all from audience suggestions. For more than two decades, the troupe's riotous antics have inspired rave reviews from people from all walks of life.

June 8 & 9: BPA Theatre School Spring Send-Off 2017
Join us for a festive annual showcase bursting with theatrical attractions, and enjoy two short plays for the price of one. Performances begin with the 2nd - 8th grade productions of tales from Hugh Lofting's series on Doctor Doolittle, and end with the debut of original works devised and staged by BPA's spring Teen Intensive students.

June 20 - 24: Bainbridge Dance Center's 36th Annual Student Performance
BDC presents six spellbinding performances showcasing more than 100 students, ages 4-18, in works of creative movement, modern, jazz, tap and ballet. The youngest students will demonstrate pre-technique movement, and members of the Advanced Ballet Repertory will present "Cinderella Suite," with the music of Sergie Prokofiev, restaged and choreographed by BDC faculty members Cait Wyler and Kim Holloway.
Performances: Tuesday - Saturday @ 7:00 p.m. + Saturday @ 2:00 p.m.
