BroadwayWorld chats with writer & performer Tina D'Elia about her new solo show 'Overlooked Latinas' running at The Marsh San Francisco October 6 to 29. Her show is a riotously funny “queer telenovela farce of the century” about two queer Latinx best friends collaborating on a TV pilot highlighting Latinx movie stars during the McCarthy era.
Tina D’Elia will return to The Marsh San Francisco with her fourth solo show, Overlooked Latinas. Set in January 2021, this new queer telenovela farce of the century follows two queer Latinx best friends, Angel Torres and Carla Garcia, who are collaborators on a television pilot that highlights legendary Latinx movie stars during the McCarthy era.
Writer/performer Tina D’Elia will return to The Marsh San Francisco with her fourth solo show, Overlooked Latinas. The show runs October 6-29, 2022.
As the Bay Area's shelter-in-place continues, The Marsh San Francisco offers a variety of programming at 7:30pm nightly on MarshStream, its newly launched Broadcast Platform.
This spring, The Marsh San Francisco presents the unbridled imagination of Tina D'Elia and her latest solo show, Overlooked Latinas.
