Brisk Weather Productions will stage the West Coast Premiere of Joy Cutler's hilarious Pardon My Invasion at The Phoenix Theatre, 414 Mason Street in San Francisco, today, January 9 - February 8, 2014.

Pardon My Invasion shows what happens to a pulp fiction writer when her characters come to life and a male soldier inhabits the body of her 13-year-old daughter. The story takes a major twist because the daughter and the soldier are played by the same actress, Bay Area standout Marissa Keltie.

Pardon My Invasion is penned by former San Francisco playwright Joy Cutler who is now based in Philadelphia. The show is directed by Joe Weatherby and produced by Weatherby and Phoenix Theatre's Linda Ayres-Frederick.

"I heard a reading of Cutler's script in May at the Last Frontier Theatre Conference in Valdez, Alaska, and immediately decided the Phoenix would be the perfect venue for a Bay Area production," Ayres-Frederick said.
