Sheryl Lee Ralph, who originated the role of Deena Jones in DREAMGIRLS, will appear with the current touring cast of DREAMGIRLS at a benefit at San Francisco's Marines' Memorial Theatre, the theatre's official website announces.  The show, which will take place on September 20 at 7:30pm, will benefit The Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The cast will perform musical numbers.

To purchase tickets, which range from $25 to $100, call 415-273-1620 or visit www.helpisontheway.org.  After the show, there will be a dessert party with the cast; a limited number of $20 tickets are available.

In addition to DREAMGIRLS, for which she was nominated for a Tony Award, Sheryl Lee Ralph's stage credits include REGGAE and THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE.  On screen, she has appeared in 'It's a Living,' 'Designing Women,' 'Moesha,' and 'Justice League,' among others.
