Whether he's delivering killer comedy at an intimate nightclub, giving acclaimed performances on HBO's Girls and in Judd Apatow's Trainwreck, or performing live in his widely lauded, Jerry Seinfeld-directed hit Broadway shows, Colin Quinn has proven himself a master of comedic observation and storytelling. This December, Quinn-who is apparently refusing to leave the business-brings his sly wit and unique perspective to A.C.T.'s Strand Theater in the San Francisco debut of his all-new stand-up show, One in Every Crowd. Showcasing his distinctive brand of razor-sharp and intelligent comedy, One in Every Crowd proves that there's always one person in every group situation who ruins everything! The first of several solo-storytellers presented under A.C.T.'s @TheStrand series, One in Every Crowd performs for five performances only December 14-17, 2017. The performance schedule is as follows: Thursday, December 14 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, December 15 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, December 16 at 7:30 p.m. & 9:30 p.m.; and Sunday, December 17 at 2 p.m.

Tickets (ranging in price from $30-$45) are available beginning Friday, September 22 at 10 a.m. at the A.C.T. Box Office at 415.749.2228 or online at www.act-sf.org. Prices are subject to change without notice.

>From MTV's Remote Control to Saturday Night Live to Comedy Central's Tough Crowd, Colin Quinn has been making audiences laugh for over three decades. He's been on Broadway with Irish Wake and Colin Quinn Long Story Short and off Broadway with Colin Quinn Unconstitutional and Colin Quinn The New York Story. Colin can be seen in the recurring role of Hermie on HBO's Girls, opposite Amy Schumer in Judd Apatow's Trainwreck, and in Sandy Wexler with Adam Sandler. Colin Quinn The New York Story (directed by Jerry Seinfeld) and Colin Quinn Unconstitutional are now streaming on Netflix and his web series Cop Show can be seen on lstudio.com. His first and last book, The Coloring Book, is available from Grand Central Publishing.

"Bringing Colin Quinn back to San Francisco for the first time in a decade and adding him to our growing roster of @TheStrand artists is a real coup for A.C.T.," says Associate Artistic Director Andy Donald. "Colin's unique history of blending incisive stand-up with compelling and personal storytelling on the Broadway stage makes him an ideal fit for The Strand, and opens doors for us to offer audiences more world-class comedy and solo work in our intimate space. I can't wait for Bay Area audiences to experience this one-of-a-kind artist."

A.C.T.'s @TheStrand is a series of events showcasing world-class performances, original theatrical events, acclaimed touring shows, and groundbreaking new works from the Bay Area and beyond. Featuring exciting works from the worlds of theater, dance, comedy, music, and more, @TheStrand further develops A.C.T.'s dynamic and intimate performance complex into a unique San Francisco venue where audiences can discover, engage, and explore arts of all mediums.
