Broadway Chorus to Bring BROADWAY BASH to Pleasanton, 5/10-12

Broadway Chorus will present "Broadway Bash", a lively romp through some of Broadway's best party songs. Selections such as The Life of the Party (The Wild Party), Hostess with the Mostess (Call Me Madam), Masquerade (Phantom of the Opera), Raise the Roof (The Wild Party) and Dancing through Life (Wicked) will be a few of the fun selections performed by the chorus.

The show will also include the Broadway Kids Chorus, made up of local children in grades 1-8, directed by Jenny Matteucci and Glen Riggs. The show is directed by Jenny Matteucci, accompanied by Daniel Lockert, and produced by JoAnn Loitz.

Three performances will be held on Friday, May 10 at 8 PM, Saturday, May 11 at 8 PM and Sunday, May 12 (Mother's Day) at 2 PM at Amador Theater, 1155 Santa Rita Road in Pleasanton.

Tickets are available online at www.trivalleyrep.org or at the Amador Theater box office on the show days. Ticket prices are adults 18+ $20, seniors 60+ $17, juniors under 18 $10. There is a 10% discount when tickets are purchased at the door for those who hold a Broadway Chorus "business card" available from any Broadway Chorus member. Broadway Chorus is a community chorus located in the Tri-Valley area (Pleasanton - Dublin - Livermore, California). It is part of the Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre, formerly known as Pleasanton Playhouse. Tri-Valley Repertory provides regional Theatre productions for the San Francisco East Bay and the Tri-Valley area including Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, Sunol and San Ramon.

The adult Broadway Chorus is a mixed group of about 80 men and women non-auditioned performers directed by Jenny Matteucci and accompanied by Daniel Lockert. There is also a Broadway Kids Chorus for students in grades 1-8 directed by Jenny Matteucci and Glen Riggs This year, by popular demand, we have added another concert to the series giving you the opportunity to enjoy three concerts annually which usually include both the adult and youth groups. Broadway Chorus encourages the community to attend the performances listed on the website and welcomes members of the community to join and sing with the group.
