Set in the late nineteenth century on a country estate, The Seagull, written by Russian dramatist Anton Chekhov, tells the touching love story of a young writer, Konstantin, and his quest for a burgeoning actress Nina, and the romantic and artistic conflicts that ensue. The play beautifully portrays the fulfillment as well as disappointments of life.
