Broadway Training Center of Westchester, one of the region's premiere performing arts schools, will present a one-night performance of the comedy BOEING-BOEING tonight, January 3 as part of its winter fundraising gala. Starring BTC alumni and student ensemble members, the performance will be held at 7:00pm in the Irvington Town Hall Theater (85 Main St.) and will be followed by an exclusive wine-and-dessert reception at a private Westchester home.

"Come help us celebrate our 23rd season by attending this special event," says Jason Brantman, who along with Fiona Santos, became co-Artistic Director of the nonprofit, Hastings-on-Hudson-based program in 2004. "At BTC, we see theatre as a vehicle for personal development. We not only stage musicals throughout the year, we offer youth and adults a range of acting, voice and dance classes. Our distinctive mission is to provide the most professional training in the most nurturing environment."

Adds Santos: "Building on last year's success, this year's gala promises to be a very special evening. It will delight audience members with a fun show and unusual auction items, while providing critical support for our many classes and productions."

Westchester Magazine has said BTC offers "the best theatre classes in southern Westchester." The school's actors and directors have won numerous National Youth Arts Awards in recent years. Many of its staff are current and former Broadway performers and crew.
