The Studio proudly presents the regional premier of The Herd by Rory Kinnear. This play is a brilliant, witty, and heartfelt look at family life when it doesn't turn out quite the way you imagined.

A domestic family drama set on Andy Griffith's birthday, The Herd is a humorous and touching look at the minutiae of living with severe mental and physical disability. Andy's anxiety ridden mother, Carol, has arranged a small family party to celebrate Andy's 21st birthday. But, Andy and his caregiver are running late, and unexpected guests arrive, straining family dynamics and bringing to light the challenges of reconciliation, the power of shared memories and the irresistible pull of family.

Note: The December 10 performance is SOLD OUT.

Directed by Judy Rollings, The Herd features studio members Maureen Dias Watson, Patti Davis Suarez, Amanda Melby, and Michael Fleck with guest artists Al Benneian and Brady Weber.
