Arizona Broadway Theatre (ABT) today announced the classic rock musical Rock Of Ages as the final addition to its stellar Season 11 lineup. The hilarious and rowdy musical opens May 27, 2016. Individual tickets will be released in June, but season subscriptions are currently available through the box office.

Set in L.A.'s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, Rock Of Ages tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. Rock Of Ages takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair! You'll feel like you're in the front row at your favorite classic rock band's concert, with songs like, "Hit Me With Your Best Shot," "We're Not Gonna Take It," "Here I Go Again" and so many more!

Rock Of Ages joins seven Mainstage productions already announced for the 2015-2016 season. Season 11 kicks off October 16 with worldwide favorite West Side Story, and continues with the holiday classic A Christmas Carol. The heartwarming Rodgers & Hammerstein tale Carousel starts off 2016, followed by the revival of ABT's most-requested show in history Fiddler On The Roof. The show made famous by Dolly Parton and Burt Reynolds Best Little Whorehouse In Texas follows, with the recently announced Rock of Ages starting the summer theatre schedule. Rounding out the season's final months are the family-friendly Shrek: The Musical and the screamingly funny Pageant.

Subscriptions are still available to ensure the best seats for this season of Broadway hits. Contact the ABT box office at 623.776.8400 for more details and to set up your ticket package. Individual tickets go on sale in June, and can be purchased at the box office in person at 7701 W. Paradise Lane in Peoria, online at azbroadway.org or by calling 623.776.8400.
