May is Military Appreciation Month and the State Theatre is celebrating with a special discount ticket to see "Blue Collar" comedian Ron White on Friday, June 9th.

A limited number of discounted tickets for just $26.25 are available for all veterans and military personnel. The discount is limited to 200 tickets for each of the Ron White performances at the State Theatre. There are no additional fees attached to the discounted tickets.

Ron White has been a passionate supporter of the US military for more than 20 years, donating his time and resources. In 2008, he created an annual charity show Ron White's Comedy Salute to the Troops. The profit from ticket/DVD sales is donated to the Armed Forces Foundation to assist troops and their families. Many of White's celebrity friends have participated in these shows: Lewis Black, Dave Attell, Kathleen Madigan, Brian Regan and Rascal Flatts. In 2011, the show was recorded for TV/DVD and was the second highest-watched show on CMT that year.

Show times are 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM on Friday, June 9. Regular-priced tickets are $52/47 and can be purchased by visiting the State Theatre Box Office, 453 Northampton Street, Easton, by calling 1-800-999-STATE, 610.252.3132 or online at www.statetheatre.org. Sponsored by CAT Country 96. This show is for mature audiences only.

Discounted tickets are available thru the Box Office only by calling 1-800-999-STATE, 610.252.3132 or by visiting the Box Office at 453 Northampton Street, Easton. The discount is not valid on previous purchases or for other shows.
